My goal is to design a web page about earthquakes

Does your drawing/plan fit into your design and layout of your web pages ?

Yes it does. it turned out to be exactly the way i planned it. My home page is designed in the exact same way i planned it except that i was planning to put 3 photos but i changed my mind nd put one instead.

your topic and research. what have you done in class ?

I spent about 2 and a half periods researching about earthquakes. i found a lot of useful information about earthquakes. but some of the language is too complex to understand.

Color, font and the use of media

I am using the colors red,blue and brown. The red represents the blood that was spread during an earthquake and it it used for the titles. The blue does not represent anything but it is a bright color that makes the text stand out and it is used for the questions. The brown represents the color of the ground and it is used for the body text. My font is Comic Sans MS. All of my writing is in capitals . I am also planning on putting in images and a video of an earthquakes happening.

The features of Apple Iweb. What is working.what is not working in the web application

Everything is working well for me in Iweb except when i delete something by an accident i can't seem to recover it . This is a big problem for e because i keep having to start over and over again. Also sice other people can open up my webpage it is a problem because some of the text i wrote is misssing .

Why is communication so important during an emergency?
communication is very important during an emergency because if the message is not spread
anything can happen. It is important to make the community aware of what kind of information they might receive in an emergency. They should also learn what might happen when certain events occur. Giving information ahead of time will help those who need more time to prepare.By spreading the message you can save a lot of lives from what is coming. People must receive accurate information so that they can be prepared and take action.
What forms of communication have been used during recent disasters e.g Hurricane Katrina, the Asian Tsunami?
They are establishing a tsunami warning system in the Indian Ocean. The system will be based on national tsunami centers and the free exchange of necessary data among countries. The tsunami warning system will also include substantial awareness-raising and public education, and will be well integrated into other types of national warning and disaster management systems.
